Members are the very core of the Scottish Fair Trade Forum. Being a membership organisation, the Forum is governed by its members. At the Annual General Meeting members elect representatives to sit on the Board who guide the overall work the Forum does.
Financially, members’ fees directly contribute to the work being carried out across the country to raise awareness and further the cause of Fair Trade. It is with the help of our members that we are able to raise awareness and further the cause of Fair Trade throughout the country. From hosting Fair Trade producer tours to supporting Fair Trade communities, campaigners, and businesses, the Scottish Fair Trade Forum is always hard at work.
Membership of the Scottish Fair Trade Forum allows you to receive regular newsletters; invitations to national Fair Trade events; and a connection to a network of like-minded individuals and organisations. If you are an organisation we can also offer advice consultations, priority booking and free stalls at events, use of a member logo, a membership certificate to display and shared advertising opportunities in national press.
Throughout our existence, Forum members have been a tremendous source of support and inspiration. The wide variety of organisations and individuals who have committed to Fair Trade has enriched the debate, which has allowed us to achieve our aims with their backing.
