Scottish Government Consultation

The Scottish Government has launched a public consultation exercise that will invite responses from International Development stakeholders and the wider civil society in Scotland, the UK, and overseas on the future of the Scottish Government’s International Development Policy. The consultation is taking place in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals and the 10th anniversary of their international development programme.
 
Respondents are asked to consider various aspects of the Scottish Government’s programme, such as the countries that they work in and the themes which underpin their projects.
 
We would like to encourage our members to respond to the consultation – if you think that Scotland’s commitment to Fair Trade is important please make sure that you say this in the consultation. The Scottish Government will be hosting several meetings to gather feedback from the public. Attend one of these events to let your voice be heard:
