The Fair Trade Awards 2013!

This year the Scottish Fair Trade Forum will host its first ever national Fair Trade Awards! The winners will be announced at a ceremony during the Fair Trade Festival on Saturday 7 September, at the Station Hotel in Perth. The event is a national celebratory occasion marking Scotland’s achievement in gaining Fair Trade Nation status earlier this year. 

If you believe you know a certain individual, group or organisation you think should be nominated for an award then simply complete the form below and return it to info@sftf.org.uk no later than 21 August 2013 to ensure that your nomination is considered. You can nominate as many individuals, groups or organisations as you like, in as many categories as you like!

 

The award categories and criteria for nominees are as follows:

Volunteer of the Year Award - Any volunteer who has shown outstanding commitment to Fair Trade over the past year can be nominated

Community Award - Any individual, group or organisation (e.g. faith group, school, business or community) that has done exceptional campaigning for Fair Trade in their community can be nominated

Innovation Award - Any individual, group or organisation that has created an innovative campaign or approach to campaigning for the Fair Trade movement can be nominated

Campaigner of the Year -Any individual, group or organisation that has been campaigning for Fair Trade over the past twelve months can be nominated

Outstanding Achievement Award - Any individual, group or organisation that has demonstrated consistent outstanding commitment to Fair Trade and continually made significant achievements through Fair Trade campaigning can be nominated
