SFTF Student Representatives 2009-10

Student Representatives for the Scottish Fair Trade Forum are important in helping to raise awareness of Scotland’s work to become a Fair Trade Nation, since universities achieving Fairtrade Status is a key part of that objective. Student Reps are the first point of contact for students wanting to raise awareness of Fair Trade in their region and are expected to be the voice, eyes and ears of the SFTF in working towards raising awareness of Fair Trade issues in his/her institution.

Student representatives are appointed for one year at the start of each Academic session and are elected through an informal interview with the Director of the SFTF. Sucessful applicants will undergo a short, informal telephone interview with the SFTF Director.
