The Fairtrade Foundation

The Fairtrade Foundation runs the Fairtrade Schools scheme within the UK.  Contact the schools department on 020 7405 5942 or email schools@fairtrade.org.uk

Development Education Centres

There are six Development Education Centres (DECs) in Scotland. The centres have a resource library with a wide range of information on global issues including Fair Trade for use in schools and the community.  They can provide CPD and advice on appropriate resources.

IDEAS

The International Development Education Association of Scotland (IDEAS) is a network of over 40 organisations and individuals involved in Development Education and Education for Global Citizenship across Scotland.  Around 30 IDEAS members work in the schools sector to support education for global citizenship. Members offer a range of services: CPD workshops (for teachers and school staff), loan and sale of classroom resources, school speakers, projects and research. Co-operative Education Trust Scotland (CETS)
