Fashion Revolution Week 2017: 24-30 April
On 24 April 2013, 1,134 people were killed and over 2,500 were injured when the Rana Plaza complex collapsed in Dhaka, Bangladesh. That’s when Fashion Revolution was born.
In 2016, in more than 92 countries around the world, tens of thousands of people took part in Fashion Revolution Week. In Scotland, the Scottish Fair Trade Forum promoted the #whomademyclothes campaign, to show that we care and demand better for the people who make our clothes.
We encourage local Fair Trade groups, towns, schools, colleges and universities to start planning their 2017 #WhoMadeMyClothes campaigns.
The Fashion Revolution website offers free materials, branding, educational resources and ideas to help you campaign. Check out their website and join the 2017 Fashion Revolution!
