Regional Sessions

About the Sessions

We are holding a series of regional sessions to assist groups and individuals with Fair Trade activities, events and campaigns. The sessions are available to anyone interested in Fair Trade and Fairtrade refreshments will be provided!

We hope to bring together like-minded groups and individuals who are working to support Fair Trade but are perhaps not aware of each other's activities. The sessions are also a fantastic opportunity to discuss recent developments in the Fair Trade movement and ask us any questions you may have.

Topics to be discussed at the sessions may include:

  • General Introduction to Fair Trade
  • New developments within Fair Trade (topics may include Brexit, UK Trade Bill, Cadbury, Sainsburys, Traidcraft).
  • Running a Fair Trade group: expanding reach, communications.
  • Staying in touch and networking: how can we help with this?

About our Regional Structure

Our 2017 community survey highlighted that local groups were keen to work collaboratively with other groups within their area.

To help campaigners do this, and for the purpose of running regional sessions, we grouped local authority areas into the following seven regions (see diagram below or download a word version).

Please note that you can attend whichever session which suits you best. You are also welcome to attend more than one.
