Development Education Centres

There are five Development Education Centres (DECs) in Scotland. The DECs have a resource library with a wide range of information on global issues, including Fair Trade, for use in schools and the community.

Fairtrade Schools is an excellent place to find support and resources including sessions plans, films, activities and games and assembly plans all about Fair Trade.

Enterprise Education and Fair Trade supports you to add an ethical dimension to your enterprise activities.

Connecting Classrooms through Global Learning is a project that supports schools across the globe to collaborate on and learn about the big issues that shape our world.  It offers fully funded professional learning, free support, free classroom resources, generous funding and recognition leading to accreditation through the British Council International School Award.

IDEAS for Global Citizenship is a network of organisations that support Development Education and Education for Global Citizenship.
